Plextor Europe has announced a new version of its PlexTools software. PTP (Plextools Professional) HDD includes new features that will appeal to many users of the Plextor Portable Harddisk devices including secure password protection and extra diagnostic tools.
Press Release: By offering a secure password protection function to deny unauthorised access of the hard disk drive, PTP HDD protects your private data that is stored on the portable HDD.
Additional some diagnostic functions are available to test the Read Speed and Random Access time on your hard disks.
In order to accomodate the customer in his own language, several language packs are available for download.
