Roxio has launched Toast 10 Titanium, the company's latest burning software aimed specifically at Macs.
Although Toast 10 can still of course burn data, music and videos to CDs and DVDs, Roxio is shifting towards moving the information around instead of burning data.
New features include streaming media to TiVo, burn AVCHD from camcorders to Blu-ray or DVD, convert audiobook CDs into a single file -- with chapters -- to be played on an Apple iPod, and 20 new menu styles.
Toast 10 Titanium Pro comes bundled with a plug-in that is able to author HD video content on to regular DVDs and Blu-ray Discs.
Toast 10 Titanium is now available for $99.99, with a professional edition available for $149.99. Customers who purchase Toast 10 online will receive a free copy of the HD/Blu-ray plug-in -- after the promotion, it'll be available for $19.99.
Even though the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) begins later this week in Las Vegas, Apple is kicking off its final Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco tomorrow with the opening keynote.
